Cabasse, the legendary European speaker manufacturer, introduces two new speakers and a new subwoofer to their extraordinarily high-performance, high-value product range. All three products are designed for two-channel as well as multi-channel home theater and custom installations.
RIGA Compact Satellite
New in the Artis range, Riga is a very compact satellite fitted with a new 7" coaxial unit, mounted in a sphere half the volume of the one in Baltic Evolution, her bigger sister.
Another Cabasse innovation to meet the demands of music and movie lovers looking for solutions with elegance and discrete aesthetic design. To meet the challenges set by the requirements of the Riga design, three years intensive development went into the new BC17 driver. This unit consists of a dome midrangetweeter and ring shaped lower midrange-woofer membrane, forming together a portion of pulsating sphere. With the same constant control of the directivity all along its bandwidth whatever the application – floorstanders, on wall, or on its base - and the typical Cabasse transparency, sensitivity and power handling, Riga concentrates all the virtues of the SCS (Spatially Coherent System) principles developed by the Cabasse laboratory.
Floorstanders (wood veneer stand/painted base and sphere) are available in Wild cherry/black pearl, Santos/black pearl, Wenge/pearl, and Wenge/black pearl; On-wall and bookshelf models are available in Pearl and Black Pearl.

BORA Monitor
Years after Caravelle and Goélette 500 - the first Cabasse compact 3-way loudspeaker systems including an 8" woofer, that are still being used by professionals and music lovers worldwide - we are proud to present Bora, a new monitor with stunning characteristics.
The unique spectral and dynamic performance of the former monitors has been preserved and improved, with an ease and comfort in listening never before offered by a high efficiency bookshelf system. Bora combines the analytical accuracy and dynamic capacity expected from a monitor with a large sweet spot and the unique Cabasse 3D soundstage.
This combination of focus and smoothness has been achieved thanks to the wide frequency response of the BC13 co-axial midrange-tweeter and the new 8" Duocell cone woofer designed for Bora, combined with a variable order cross-over.
Models are available in Golden Cherry wood finish, Santos wood finish, and Gloss black.

SANTORIN 30 High-end Subwoofer with Parametric Room Tuning & Remote
This new subwoofer concentrates in a compact format the technical solutions applied in the low-frequency section of our flagship “La Sphère” - a 12" honeycomb dome woofer in a closed cabinet, a 500 W RMS digital amplifier, precise digital adjustments of all parameters, Cabasse software for acoustical analysis and corrections of the room.
The Santorin 30 is delivered with a measurement kit for automatic adaptation of the subwoofer response. Three different – automatic and/or manual – set-ups can be saved and called up with the supplied remote control.
The flat and deep, dynamic and controlled low-frequencies of the Santorin 30 make it the perfect partner for Baltic Evolution and Riga to constitute exceptional stereo and multichannel systems in every type of listening room.
Models are available in Gloss black and Gloss white.

SPATIALLY COHERENT SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY
 The Riga and Bora models incorporate Cabasse's proprietary Spatially Coherent System (SCS) technology. Imagine three stones hitting the surface of a lake at three different points. The created waves will mix and propagate erratically. Now imagine three stones hitting the surface at the same point. The waves grow and spread harmoniously. This single source emission (or point source) is the benefit of the co-axial drivers and wide-range tweeters designed by the Cabasse R&D team. Fidelity to original timbres and dynamic range, a wide, stable and full soundstage, are the benefits of SCS technology.
The co-axial technology by Cabasse is a major innovation in the loudspeaker world because its principle is the closest proposal to the theoretical ideal. It results from the 60 years experience Cabasse has in driver design and development, and the new midrange-tweeter benefits from 20 years expertise in this type of speaker driver.
